Supporting You

Whatever the situation or event that led you to the Donor Family experience, it's sudden, and without warning.

We're pleased to have the contribution and participation of those within the Donor Families Australia network, in building a supportive community that shares and learns together.

As a community-led advocacy group, we don't provide professional help. However, there are many professional services available to help. If you're seeking more support, we would encourage you to make contact with any of these services which might be able to assist you in your particular situation.

There are a number of informal (non-professional self-help and advocacy) bodies made up of people like you. You can also join our very active Donor and Recipients private group on Facebook — a welcoming place to connect with others living with the Donor Family experience. Click the Support Agencies button below to find out more.

Theres's also a range of resources dealing with bereavement, grief and trauma. Click the Resources button below for more.
