Who is Donor Families Australia?
Losing someone we love is one of the hardest things we may ever have to live with. Formed in 2013, Donor Families Australia is a national member-based independent support and advocacy group comprising families who have donated their loved ones’ organs and tissue.
It's the only organisation of its kind in Australia specifically dedicated to Donor Families.
Donor Families Australia is an independent organisation, completely directed by its membership to help improve the experience of Donor Families.
We endeavour to work with all similar organisations such as those involved with organ and tissue donation in collaborative manner for the betterment of all.

Donor Families Australia seeks to continue the gift of donors to save the lives of suffering people in our community and to care for those who have donated.
The organisation does this through its aims which are to provide care and support to families who have donated their loved one’s organs and /or tissues; to advocate and give donor families a voice; to educate the community about the benefits of donation, whilst respecting, acknowledging and supporting those touched by donation decisions.
