This was DFA's BIGGEST  social media event of 2025

Following interest from overseas organisations DFA's now promoting Donor Heroes Night as an International Event.

​

DFA has an entire Page dedicated to Donor Heroes Night where you can find all the information concerning the event, media releases, and Donor Hero Stories.

15 new Stories and a further 170 Donor Heroes are now posted on our virtual Donor Heroes' Wall.

For easer access to your Donor Hero, the photos are now placed in alphabetical order based on first names.

Formed in 2013, Donor Families Australia Inc. is a national member-based independent support and advocacy group comprising families who have donated their loved ones’ organs and tissue. It is the only incorporated organisation of its kind in Australia specifically dedicated to Donor Families.

Membership is free and gives donor families a voice:

​

  • To speak with and to support each other. 

  • To let those who formulate organ and tissue donation policy know what is important to Donor Families.

  • To connect the community to a group that knows the experience of donation so they might come to a true understanding of what it is all about.
